Mercedes Milá responds to William Levy after the latest controversy: "Not in prison, but of course they would have given birth"

If something characterizes Mercedes Milá it is her strong character and her sincerity. The communicator is never afraid to say loud and clear what she thinks. Last September, the journalist interviewed William Levy, one of the most renowned actors on the current scene. She hugged him and flirted with him. In a recent interview with El Mundo, the actor said that if the interviewer had been a man and a woman had received this treatment, he would have gone to jail. Some of the most controversial statements to which Milá has now responded.

It's a good time for William Levy. The actor from Café con aroma de mujer has recently premiered the Montecristo series on Movistar. That is why the interpreter has given several interviews to the media, where he has shared various aspects of this new production. He has also spoken about Mercedes Milá, who declared her love for him on several occasions and publicly lamented because Levy did not respond to the messages he sent him through social networks. Some statements that got him fully into the controversy.

"I have a thousand problems in my life and a thousand things that are happening to me. My life does not depend on her or on anyone else. It depends on me and my children. I can't live waiting for someone to get upset if I don't call them. If they know annoying is her problem", she said in an interview with VerTele. "I'm fine with her and we get along very well. And she hugs me and it's normal," she added.

As we explained previously, last September Milá interviewed the 42-year-old actor in Movistar, and both starred in a most affectionate moment, since she hugged him on several occasions. In a recent interview with the newspaper El Mundo, the journalist asked the actor if it would have been the same if what Milá did had been done by a man. "Of course not! He goes to jail, he goes to jail, or not? So, we're wrong, we have to respect ourselves and take care of ourselves," Levy said. However, the actor revealed that he did not feel "sexually harassed" by the Catalan presenter.

These statements were highly commented on social networks, and occupied a large number of headlines. As it could not be otherwise, they have had a response from the charismatic presenter, who assures that the press sought to tickle her so that she would speak ill of her. "Dear William, I have read that they asked you about me in an interview and that they tried to put you in gardens where you spoke ill of me. That happens a lot. It happens to me a thousand times and you have not done it. So what you have Said is rigorously true," he said.

"What you have said is rigorously true. If the interview that I did with you had been done by a man with a woman, he would be in jail. Well, not in prison, but of course they would have put him to labor, very sure. Instead, I I was able to allow myself to give you a neck massage, kiss you, flirt with you and nothing happened. You are absolutely right in the world," Milá ended by saying, remembering the moment they both lived in the past.

To finish signing peace with the actor, Milá has supported the launch of William's new series through his social networks. The presenter has recommended her followers to see this version of Montecristo, starring the Cuban and whose promotion is the origin of all this anecdote.
