Melendi's fortune beyond music: how the brick is turning him into gold

Melendi doesn't stop working. The Asturian artist is one of the most prolific musicians in our country, and with twelve studio albums full of hits it can be said that he has a more than assured future as far as his economy is concerned. However, Semana magazine has decided to take a turn and diversify his income, consolidating his empire beyond music: founding his own construction company.

The one from Oviedo is the administrator of RLV 4 Songs, a company established in 2009 and Blue Donkey Music SL, in 2015; dedicated to musical activity; which are now joined by his construction company, Mai Home SL, of which he is the administrator, with which he is trying to make a dent in the luxury real estate sector.

The company, founded in 2021 and whose corporate purpose is classified as "the construction industry of all types of public and private works", is bringing him great joy. It was the artist's first step into the world of real estate buying and selling, and it is not going badly at all. An adventure that he manages alone, with unique construction projects "of excellent quality, modern inspiration and yet timeless. Because a Mai Home house is a house designed for life"; As one reads on his website, he seems to make what he promises come true.

What's more, the singer would be very involved with this company, personally going to supervise the construction works of the projects and how the buildings are erected, moments that have been captured by the photographers of the aforementioned publication.

In addition to this company beyond music, the Asturian is the sole director of three other companies and partner of two more: Alcalá Partners SL, dedicated to the "promotion and sale of constructions and buildings of any kind" and Calm Holding SL, of which at the moment nothing is known, but which seems to be dedicated to the same sector.

Given his business moves, his future seems to be more than assured. According to Semana, the artist has invested no less than 369,279 euros to address losses from the previous year that amounted to 17,083 euros. An obvious personal interest in this company prospering.

Furthermore, his healthy accounts have allowed him to increase his personal real estate assets, with several properties spread throughout our country, among which are his fabulous family home of almost 700 square meters in Villaviciosa de Odón (Madrid) or his apartment in the center of Oviedo (Asturias), with garage and storage room, among others.

Married since 2018 to Julia Nakamatsu, mother of his three young daughters: Lola (7), Abril (4) and Dakota (4 months) - his eldest daughter, Carlota (18), is the result of his relationship with his girlfriend Miriam Martínez; and his son Marco (14) was born during his eight-year relationship with the Sevillian singer La Dama.
