Mario Vargas Llosa and Patricia Llosa return after their romantic getaway: The writer "wishes everyone well"

Seven months after the surprising break between Mario Vargas Llosa and Isabel Preysler, the writer's life has turned upside down. A few days ago the news was confirmed that the Nobel Prize winner was traveling in Sicily with his wife, Patricia Llosa, which seemed like a reconciliation between the two after the end of their relationship with the 'Queen of hearts'. Both have enjoyed a few days of dreams and affection in this romantic getaway, which was also joined by one of their children.

"It has already been confirmed that they have returned," said Nacho Gay, director of Vanitatis, on the program Y ahora, Sonsoles. "They are on a romantic trip to Sicily and they look very affectionate," he said. On his return from this dream trip, the writer was approached by the press upon his arrival at the Atocha train station (Madrid), as reported by Socialité in its broadcast this Sunday. In the images, a concealed Patricia can be seen, who appears behind her without wanting to raise suspicions, but who, evidently, was captured by the press. It is thus confirmed that the couple would have spent a few days together.

Everything seems to indicate that there could be a reconciliation between the two. "We are very well," expressed his son Gonzalo, without letting the renowned writer speak for himself before the microphones of Europa Press. "We are very happy, as always, it is too hot," said Gonzalo. "The trip was very good," said Mario. "In the family, as it should be," said his son. The family shows that they are united and happy, as they show in the images.

On the other hand, the reporters asked Mario if the title of his new novel, Le dedico mi silencio, which will be published next October, is dedicated to his ex-partner, Isabel Preysler. The writer does not answer, but a smile can be seen on his face while Gonzalo wishes "everyone the best" and assures that "we love everyone."

The 87-year-old Nobel Prize winner organized this trip with his wife after overcoming a health scare that kept him admitted to the Ruber Clinic due to complications from a COVID-19 infection. According to Nacho Gay, the trip began as a romantic plan, but Vargas Llosa's reduced mobility made it necessary to have the company of his family, especially Patricia, who has been carefully cared for by the writer.

"He treats her like a real queen and is very affectionate with her. And she lets herself be loved... It's nice to see them," a source close to the ex-marriage told the press, highlighting Vargas Llosa's dedication to Patricia. Without a doubt, the saying that sequels are not good seems not to affect them. The couple seems to be very happy and united.
