María Zurita, first cousin of King Felipe VI and daughter of the Infanta Margarita, has undergone an image change that has not gone unnoticed. During the funeral of her first cousin, Fernando Gómez-Acebo, last Monday, Zurita sported a noticeably different profile, revealing that she had undergone rhinoplasty three weeks ago.
In statements collected by 20 minutes, the niece of King Emeritus Juan Carlos has not hidden her surgical intervention, admitting that it was motivated by breathing difficulties. "She wasn't breathing well and on the inside they did everything to me. Then I said, on the outside they left her straight," said María, describing the postoperative process as "hard", although without experiencing significant pain. "My doctor was great," she added.
Despite her satisfactory recovery, María Zurita reflected on her decision: "I come to know, I don't know if I'll do it." Her experience has led her to value not only the aesthetic, but also the functional aspects of this type of intervention.
María attended the funeral of her cousin Fernando Gómez-Acebo, son of Pilar de Borbón, sister of the emeritus king, along with her parents, Infanta Margarita, aunt of the deceased and Carlos Zurita, and her brother Alfonso. Her cousins were also present at her funeral, including Felipe VI and the Infantas Elena and Cristina, as well as Queens Letizia and Sofía.
