María Teresa Campos' furniture will finally be auctioned, at the request of her daughters

After the death of María Teresa Campos last September at the age of 82, there was doubt about what would happen to the furniture and belongings of the popular presenter in her home in Aravaca, in Madrid. Finally, the decision of her daughters, also television stars Carmen Borrego and Terelu Campos, has been to put them up for auction despite the great sentimental value they have for them.

In this way, anyone who wants to own any of the belongings from the veteran journalist's home will be able to do so, paying, of course, an expectedly high price. The program Así es la vida, on Telecinco, has been in charge of revealing the information and finding out the opinion of Alejandra Rubio, granddaughter of the presenter and regular collaborator of the program.

"They are pieces of furniture that cost effort and work and that we were not going to put in our house, they are not to be thrown away or wasted," she said in the program presented by Sandra Barneda on the Mediaset network. Rubio has also clarified that "it is not an economic issue, it is that there is no room and that's it," given the possible speculations.

Terelu Campos' daughter confirms that both she and Carmen "have taken things" from María Teresa's house, so not all of the belongings will be put up for auction. She, on the other hand, confirms that she has not "taken anything," because it is impossible for them to make room in their homes for all the furniture that has been the property of the presenter.

The belongings of María Teresa Campos will be displayed this Wednesday in a location in the Madrid district of Salamanca, so that those interested in bidding on them can observe them in detail. Two weeks later, on November 29 and 30, the auction will take place.

There are, in total, 831 lots that can be purchased in two different sessions, given the large number of objects they will involve. In addition, nearly 300 books that have also belonged to María Teresa will go up for auction. As for the price that will have to be paid for these objects, the amounts range from 300 euros to 1,000 euros.
