Mar Flores more sincere than ever in 'El Desafío': "Life has put me in many situations where I couldn't breathe"

Mar Flores reappeared this Friday at El Desafío to test herself. The model faced one of the most difficult challenges of the Antena 3 program: apnea, a test that often gives problems to the contestants of the different editions that have been broadcast. During the preparation for the live show, Alessandro Lequio's ex claimed to be afraid of water because of a bad experience in the past. "Once I almost drowned and when I'm underwater I repeat that feeling again. It's horrible," she revealed in the contest. Then, the model opened up about some delicate moments in her life.

The truth is that the model believed she couldn't pass this test, but she finally did. With the help of Juandi Alcázar, the program's apnea coach, she achieved the best mark of the edition, with 3 minutes 34 seconds. This caused a reflection on the part of the model. "Life has put me in many situations in which I couldn't breathe and in which I measured my heart and had to reinvent myself," she confessed.

It was then that the jury and the public applauded his performance. Pilar Rubio highlighted how much she fought during the test. For his part, Juan del Val insisted on the importance of moving forward when one seems unable to take any more. "Don't cry anymore," Mario Vaquerizo shouted from the contestants' stands. "Many times circumstances or certain people have not treated you well and you have resisted, and what you have done here has been resist," said Raquel Sánchez Silva, moving the model.

The model is clear about her motivation in this contest. "The Challenge has been a life lesson for me, but, above all, for my children. It has been a lesson to educate them in self-improvement. They have seen me work like crazy, come home full of bruises, not being able to attend to them with the duties... They have realized that in life what is necessary is effort," he said some time ago, at the program's press conference.

Mar Flores has returned to television thanks to the Antena 3 contest. The model has submitted to the verdict of the jury, made up of Pilar Rubio, Juan del Val and Santiago Segura, for weeks. This time, she took the victory. She has exposed herself again at a time when she is away from the spotlight after seeing how her eldest son was sentenced to 21 months in prison last summer. Now, Carlo Costanzia is once again in the media spotlight after his relationship with Alejandra Rubio. Without a doubt, it has been a complicated season for Flores.
