Karlos Arguiñano's emotional message to his wife Luisi after going through a bad time

This past Thursday, December 14, the set of Y Ahora Sonsoles welcomed one of the most emblematic faces of Antena 3: Karlos Arguiñano. The chef has been leading his cooking show on the San Sebastián de los Reyes network for more than 13 years, where every day he surprises his loyal viewers with new, easy recipes for all tastes.

But the prestigious chef began his career on the small screen almost 30 years ago on Spanish Television and later became part of Telecinco to end up being one of the most popular faces on Antena 3. Now, three decades later, he continues with the same naturalness and freshness than then and ready to continue surprising his audience.

On the occasion of the launch of his new cookbook, the chef visited the set of the Sonsoles Ónega program to review his life and his career with the naturalness that characterizes him so much. At one point in the interview, the cook opened up about his love life and about all the years he had been with his current wife, Luisi.

''You know the recipe for love because you have been with Luisi for many years,'' the presenter told him. ''I have been married for 56 years. "I invented marriage," he responded. The cook said that the beginnings of their relationship were not easy at all. ''He who follows it gets it,'' he assured. ''My wife is very funny because she tells things as they are,'' he added.

Minutes later, the presenter was very curious to know if the cook had any tricks up his kitchen sleeve when it came to dealing with the typical marital quarrels during cohabitation. ''I know what things he likes and I know what he doesn't like. When I want to give him something he doesn't like, I encourage him and tell him that you have to eat a variety of foods,' she stressed.

Regarding the success of his marriage, Karlos Arguiñano confessed that now people got angry very quickly. ''All of you hold on a little bit, except for the violence and abuse that you have to run away from. But because of silly arguments or "love has worn out." Everything is spent, but in the end if you are where you need to be and you are getting to know the other person, you have to carry that with charm. But for any nonsense, send everything to hell... city,' he pointed out.

These tender words come after the health downturn that Luisi suffered during the pandemic. And Arguiñano's wife was afraid to go out into the street and even see her grandchildren for fear of contagion. A bad time that has been overcome with the passage of time and that today is already part of the past.
