Josie, Cristina Pedroche's designer for the Campanadas, opens up: "Normality scares me"

The fashion designer and television collaborator Josie has given an interview to Lecturas magazine in which he has opened up and explained some aspects of his life hidden until now.

Although many know him for being the designer of the acclaimed and controversial dresses that Cristina Pedroche wears to give Antena 3's Chimes, Josie has earned a name for herself on the small screen after participating in countless programs: Supermodel, Zapeando, I see how you sing, Your face sounds familiar, Masterchef Celebrity, Dancing with the stars, etc.

In the conversation with the aforementioned media outlet, the stylist spoke about the dance talent show presented by Jesús Vázquez and Valeria Mazza and expressed how grateful he is for the popular support: ''I really wanted to do a nighttime format in rigorous direct (...) I dance, I don't dance...''.

Although he has been on the small screen for more than 15 years, the designer has acknowledged that his fame exploded during the pandemic: ''I was the revelation of that edition of Masterchef and it was very good for me on television.''

Although he is very proud of his time on the different programs in which he has participated, the 43-year-old has made it clear that he does not see himself in other formats such as Survivors: ''I don't see myself. "I don't have the capacity to lose weight to that point."

Throughout the report, Josie has reflected on how grateful he is to receive so much love and affection in a social moment of tension and gratuitous hatred. ''I didn't know I liked him so well! Do you know what it's like to have everyone voting for you to stay in a program? '' She expressed excitedly.

Despite seeming like an open book, Josie knows perfectly well where to draw the line, since she doesn't like to talk about her private life or surround herself with people who only seek the media spotlight: ''I would never fall in love with someone who was dying to be in the media ( ...) I will always fall in love with a person who is discreet.''

The peculiar designer has made it clear that from a very young age he knew that he was a peculiar boy and that, right now, normality makes him insecure, so he always tries to escape from it.

Among the different plans he has in hand, the businessman from Ciudad Real has explained that he has been offered to write a book many times, but that right now he is focused on organizing his new house and resting a little after working hard to give the best version of himself in the Telecinco dance contest.
