José Manuel Parada gives the last moment of Marisol's state of mind after the death of her husband: ''It has been very hard to lose the love of her life''

The life of the great Pepa Flores, better known as Marisol, took a 180 degree turn at the end of last summer. And on September 3 we learned the sad news of the sudden death of her husband, Massimo Stecchini, at the age of 63 due to a heart attack.

The loss of the Italian businessman has left a great void in his entire family, but especially in the Spanish actress and singer, who has not raised his head since then. Furthermore, this past Sunday, February 4, Pepa Flores celebrated her 76th birthday with her family. But this special day has been much more painful than expected, since it is the first birthday that the singer has spent without the company of her husband.

On the occasion of the actress's birthday, José Manuel Parada, a great friend of Pepa Flores, visited the set of And Now Sonsoles to give the latest update on the artist's state of mind. The 70-year-old presenter claimed on the Sonsoles Ónega program that he had not spoken to Marisol for a long time. ''I have always respected her a lot and I know that right now she doesn't feel like birthdays, or congratulations, or anything at all,'' Parada declared.

''It has been very hard for her to lose the person who I believe has truly been the love of her life, if we talk about love as something calm, as something calm, as something that does not cause headaches,'' he said. And despite the fact that many claimed that Marisol's true love was always the dancer Antonio Gades, with whom she had her three daughters, María, Tamara and Celia, her great life partner was undoubtedly Massimo .

''It was her great choice when she decided that she no longer wanted to be Marisol and wanted to be Pepa Flores. And she is her great life partner until the last moment she dies in her house in Malaga,' commented Paloma García-Pelayo. ''It's funny because she had overcome cancer and they had been worried about her health. And when they are happy a heart attack occurs and without anyone seeing it coming...'' Parada said.
