Jorge Javier Vázquez is already preparing his return to television in style. The presenter will be in charge of hosting the Supervivientes 2024 galas, as he has been doing since 2011. A new edition that will begin next Thursday, March 7 and that has generated great expectation for the return of the Catalan.
However, and even though he has been away from the small screen for several months, he has remained very active on his blog for Lecturas magazine, where he has shown his thoughts every week. And it was in the last one where he wanted to explain the story of the great love of his youth, and, in the process, make a kind of appeal.
From the Caribbean, the presenter wanted to look back and go back to when he was 18 years old. A time that has come to mind after watching the Italian Netflix film Nuovo Olimpo, which deals with the theme of young love that is not forgotten. "It entertained me and I even cried," he said.
And this story has brought back many memories of his own life experience. "When it ends I think that surely we must all have an unfinished story in our lives. Mine has to do with a boy I met when I was eighteen," she continued.
A story that occurred at the time of year where they always happen in the movies, in summer. "He had a girlfriend. I didn't. Nothing happened because I think he, with me, was facing emotionally unknown situations," she confessed. Even so, he has made it clear that the presenter really liked him, since "he was very attractive."
Although nothing happened between them, she assures that she had very good talks with him: "We were constantly looking for each other with our eyes." However, at the end of the summer, they had to say goodbye forever. "I remember perfectly what the farewell was like. He was on a bus. The window panes and life separated us. He looked at me with a sad smile," she said.
Remembering this, numerous questions have come to mind, including whether the mysterious man has ever seen him on television or if he at least remembers him. Something that seems to be that he won't find out, at least for now. "I perfectly remember his first name and his two last names. I have even searched for him on the internet but I have never found him. He has been thirty-five years ago from all this," he revealed.
Although he is a bit nostalgic now, it is not surprising that his mind will be focusing on Survivor very soon. But, if one thing is certain, it is that her return will be done with complete peace of mind, with the support of her adventure companions Laura Madrueño, Sandra Barneda and Carlos Sobera.
