Jon Kortajarena lives his most bitter moment: "RIP to my best friend"

Jon Kortajarena is going through a bad time. The actor and model has published a story on Instagram where he says goodbye to his pet, a small dog named Ator who has accompanied him for the last decade.

"Ator is gone and I am extremely sorry. Sixteen years together. There are no words to explain the impact he has had on my life and that of my family." Share the model in a very personal publication.

The Bilbao model and actor has decided to honor the memory of Ator, his faithful companion, after helping him in the most difficult moments of his life: "Thank you, friend, for so much love, for putting up with me in breakups, for accompanying me every time I felt alone , for all the movies we've seen together hugging, for teaching the world that adopting is always the best option, for making all the moments with you more beautiful... Now rest."

In this emotional publication, Kortajarena has said goodbye to his pet in the most tender way possible: "I know we will meet again. I send you peace, light and lots of love. Goodbye, friend."

Ator marked a before and after in the life of Jon Kortajarena. The model adopted the Basque shepherd sixteen years ago, creating a unique bond: "If there is something I have learned, it is that the only thing in life that can make you truly happy is love... in any form," he wrote about him.

The little boy was rescued by Jon, who saw him being mistreated: "I was walking with my grandfather in the field and we saw this guy beating a litter of puppies," the model said. "Ator was one of them, and when we took him to the vet, he was really bad... But with a lot of love and care he survived and became the smartest dog I ever had. Somehow he knows we saved him, and he's been so thankful and loyal over the years. He's an amazing companion. Sometimes he just looks at me and I think he can understand how I feel. Holding him at night is the best therapy."
