Jesús Cintora returns to Mediaset 5 years after leaving the group

Mediaset España continues to close what will be its visible faces with the start of the television season, which comes loaded with news in the communication group. After the departure of Paolo Vasile as CEO, the company that owns Telecinco and Cuatro has undertaken a series of restructurings in the grid of its main channels, with new programs that will start this September.

One of the most outstanding premieres is that of TardeAR, the new Telecinco evening show with Ana Rosa Quintana at the helm. The jump of the presenter to the afternoons has led to the morning and noon also changing faces, although those chosen to lead them are already known by Mediaset viewers: Ana Terradillos will present the first hours with La mirada crítica, while Joaquín Prat will take over at the head of Let's see.

To show the novelty in its content, the communication group has taken the opportunity to make different signings that will be immediately incorporated into these new programs, although some of them, once again, will be familiar to the followers of their channels.

As El País advances exclusively, Jesús Cintora joins the team of La mirada crítica, the current affairs and political analysis space that Ana Terradillos will present in the mornings of Telecinco from September 11. This is the return of the communicator from Soria to Mediaset after leaving the company 5 years ago, being especially remembered for his stage at the helm of Las mañanas de Cuatro between 2013 and 2015.

The end of Cintora at the helm of Cuatro's morning magazine was not without controversy, as he was abruptly fired from his duties, alluding to a supposed lack of pluralism and objectivity. However, he continued to be linked to Mediaset with programs like Cintora a pie de calle or En la caja.

Since 2018, the presenter has passed through both Atresmedia and RTVE, before returning to Mediaset in this year 2023. In the first group he participated as a collaborator in the different programs of La Sexta, in addition to presenting Carretera y manta between 2019 and 2020. Later he signed for the public entity, where he hosted the political news program Las cosas claras for a single season, again with controversy surrounding its ending.
