Jennifer Hermoso moment with Camela during the celebration of Spain

Madrid witnessed last night how the 23 players of the Spanish soccer team celebrated their well-deserved victory in the World Cup with their fans. The world champions jumped, danced, got excited, laughed and were moved, in a unique night before thousands of people gathered to see their idols.

Olga Carmona's words for her recently deceased father, the "waiter" of Misa Rodríguez in honor of Pepe Reina, but also the reappearance of Jennifer Hermoso after the controversy over the kiss of Luis Rubiales, the president of the Federation, stood out. In fact, it was the latter who starred in a great moment with one of her favorite groups, Camela, whom she hugged as soon as they went on stage at Madrid Río.

The top scorer of the Spanish National Team became the protagonist of the World Cup for the controversial kiss of Luis Rubiales during the awards ceremony. The reaction of the president of the Federation was so criticized that, finally, he had to apologize.

Meanwhile, Jennifer Hermoso tried to downplay it, although she had previously made it clear that she did not like Rubiales' behavior, and the soccer player's mother, interviewed by Espejo Público, also wanted to throw balls out and not give more hype. "You have to think that they are champions," said the woman.

Hours later and already on the stage of Madrid Río in the Spanish capital, the midfielder reappeared with her teammates to celebrate her first Ballon d'Or as world champion. During her time at the microphone, Jenni did not allude to the controversial kiss, but she was carried away by the enthusiasm of the victory and by the joy that the hundreds of fans gathered there transmitted to her.

“For me it is a pleasure to be here. This is both ours and yours”, the player began by saying. “I have to say that I am Spanish to the core, but long live Madrid and the people of Madrid because we are the best!” she shouted, causing an ovation from those present.

Moments later, Jenni claimed to have fulfilled a dream: to win the World Cup, but above all to be in front of her fans. “But, you have other dreams, don't you? In the world of art, of music… ”, she was asked. To which the soccer player released a: "I came here for all of you and because Camela was there, but I don't see you."

The famous techno-rumba group, prepared behind the scenes, was waiting for the moment to go on stage. So, upon hearing Jenni's request, the duo made up of Dioni and Ángeles appeared and hugged the player tightly. An unexpected moment!

In fact, Camela sang her famous "I dream of you, what have you given me?" together with the soccer players and, when finished, they wanted to invite them to a concert. "Before the European you have to come, you already know that it gives you luck", Dioni proposed to them.
