Jada Pinkett confesses that Tupac is her soulmate after revealing her separation from Will Smith

Last Wednesday, the United States woke up to surprising news regarding the figures of Will and Jada Pinkett Smith. In a preview of her next special television program, the actress revealed that she and her husband had been living separately since 2016. A surprising detail that gave new layers to past events, such as the slap of the I Am Legend singer to Chris Rock in the Oscar gala.

However, the presenter has also gone one step further with another unexpected statement. On this occasion, Ella Pinkett confessed to feeling a special connection with Tupac Shakur, despite never having had a relationship with him. In an interview with Christal Jordan for the Rolling Out podcast, she claimed that the rapper who died in 1996 was her soulmate. However, nothing ever materialized between them, in her words, due to a lack of chemistry.

“If there is such a thing as past lives, I definitely think Pac and I traveled together for a few,” said the Baltimore native. Later, she clarified her position on the lack of connection between the two. She detailed that she felt a friendship with him similar to a soulmate, but that she couldn't go further and cross the line of love. She even hinted that perhaps it was divine intervention that she was responsible for configuring them that way.

“It was like God made us that way. He was like, 'Look, I'm going to put you together, okay? You're going to be a dynamic duo. But I'll tell you too, I'm going to make sure you can't be together because that's not the purpose,'” the actress commented. It was one of the many topics that Jada Pinkett Smith has touched on in recent months, starting with her relationship with her husband. Although they are not legally divorced, the couple has been living apart for seven years.

“I think we were both still trapped in the fantasy of thinking what the other should be,” he expressed in an interview with the American Today Show. Likewise, he gave more details about his relationship with Will Smith to People magazine: “We're still trying to figure it out. Many things have happened. The thing about relationships is that they are constantly moving. Relationships are an organism, they are their own thing.”

Another surprising detail that Jada recently revealed was about Chris Rock, the comedian whose joke about his alopecia marked the Oscars in 2022. In his own words, the South Carolina native asked her on a date amid their separation rumors with Will. “I haven't spoken to him again... Do I have any desire to do so? Look, this is my wish: I just want the misunderstandings on this issue to be cleared up so that there can be peace again,” she thought about it.
