"It's disgusting": the harsh assessment of a 'MasterChef' judge after spitting on an applicant's plate

The latest installment of MasterChef 11 came with the visit of Terelu Campos to the kitchens after his time in the Celebrity edition of the culinary format of TVE, but also with the presence of chef Yong Wu. Both the guest judge and the regular judges were most critical of the black-aproned applicants for a disastrous preparation of some gyozas in the final stretch of the program.

In fact, Claudia was expelled precisely for making a lousy dish, to the point that one of the judges even spit on it because it was so bad. The harsh evaluation that fell on the applicant was monumental. And that is that there was nowhere to take it. "A lot of acting and little cooking," she came to tell him.

The first test of the night led Lluis, Claudia, Jotha and Ana to dress in the black apron: they were the worst valued by the judges. This led the applicants to the duels, the classic elimination test. And here the disaster was enormous.

It all happened during the duel between Lluis and Claudia: they had to make steamed white shrimp gyozas. What might seem simple, for the Italian she turned into a catastrophe, continues with a cooking full of failures where the judges did not want to help her. And of course, the result was a tragedy. In fact, when the tasting arrived, the applicant expected the worst. And the worst happened.

Guest judge Yong Wu took a bite of the gyoza, savored it momentarily, but from his face, Terelu Campos and the rest of the judges offered him a napkin to spit on. The chef spat out the raw gyoza and gave him this harsh assessment: “I'm going to be light. It sucks." The reaction of Claudia's teammates in the stands said it all: they raised their hands to their heads.

The Italian, for her part, begged for a little compassion: "Don't crush me at least." Immediately afterwards, Pepe Rodríguez went on to explain the reason for this "disgust" of the guest chef and Jordi Cruz encouraged the young woman, assuring that "we had to learn, we had to continue to evolve".

To finish, Samantha Vallejo-Nájera concluded the tasting with a harsh statement: “Here there is a lot of acting and little cooking”. Claudia was greatly surprised by the judge's words, something that caused Terelu Campos to approach the Italian and take her hands to encourage her.

“This is life's greatest humbling cure. Listen to me. This is where you really learn ”, she assured him before the applicant's face of disbelief. At the end of the night, the young woman became the new expelled from the edition.
