Israeli comedians mercilessly mock the BBC for its reporting on the bombing of Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza

The conflict involving Gaza, Israel and Hamas is getting worse every day. A devastating war that is going around the world and that all the news has talked about at some point. And it is exactly how this topic is reported in the rest of the countries that has caused controversy on several occasions.

A few weeks ago the 'BBC' put itself at the center of criticism for following a style book that did not please a sector of the British population and, above all, one of the parties involved. An Israeli comedy program has not hesitated to do a two and a half minute sketch harshly attacking the network.

The BBC style book recommends against using the term "terrorists" to refer to members of the Hamas organisation. With this, they put other names on the table such as "militants", "insurgents", "resistants", "attackers" or "kidnappers". All to achieve its principle of not taking sides in a complex conflict, and focusing on informing.

Likewise, the network was involved in controversy after a journalist claimed that the explosion at the Al-Ahli Hospital in Gaza was due to an "Israeli attack." Correspondent Jon Donnison said it was "hard to see" there being anyone else to blame. After this, the corporation issued a statement apologizing for "speculating in this way." However, they have not been able to contain Israel's criticism.

Some Israeli comedians did not hesitate to mock the 'BBC' in a very direct way, using the bombing of the Al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. "Good evening from London, here is some news about the war in Gaza," the comedian who she was hosting began to say. While she was speaking, a sign appeared reading "Israel bombs a hospital. 500 dead", being increased to 750 "innocent people" at the request of the false presenter.

But that is not all. Seconds later, Rachael, the comedian, connected with another actor who was representing a reporter transported to the scene. "Good night from the illegal colony of Tel Aviv," the comedian said ironically.

Among other things, the comedians gave way to some images about "what really happened." In these, it was possible to see how a paper plane flew over Gaza dropping some "bombs" in the shape of the star of the Israeli flag. All followed by some images from the Oppenheimer film, thus mocking the British network.

"Absolutely shocking, Harry," said the actress who played the presenter, while a sign with the phrase "We love Hamas" appeared on the screen, next to the "BBC" logo. "We received this video from Hamas, the most credible non-terrorist organization in the world," the other comedian continued. "Good evening everyone and remember: Israel is ISIS," the presenter concluded a few seconds later.
