Isa Pantoja removes her mother's painting from her house and the reason is her son: "Children cannot have traumas"

The Pantoja family has been involved in different family dramas throughout its extensive history. All of them have always been covered first-hand by the media specialized in the heart, filling hours of talk shows and a multitude of covers. One of the last is the one occupied by the matriarch Isabel and her daughter, Isa Pantoja. And the television collaborator decided this week that she had had enough.

It was through an interview with the program in which he participates, Let's see, where he assured that there was no type of contact with his mother and, surely, there would never be again. Likewise, he reiterated in this Friday's edition that he had removed the photograph of her that he had in her house after they got married. A symbolic gesture that puts an end to a relationship that has changed since her engagement to Asraf Beno was announced.

“I took down my mother's photo after the wedding. I have always been very cautious, but I want to talk. I don't think it's the parents' fault that you end up badly, but I do believe that the family is the basis of everything and can create trauma for you. I have had a happy childhood and I take refuge in adoption because it seems like something so beautiful that it makes me forget about the bad things,” she said. Likewise, she confessed that the reason for this drastic decision was her son.

“I think that having a photo of my mother, in addition to being an artist, I think does not reflect that she is either my mother or her grandmother. I have an envelope full of photos with her and that seems closer to me when I neither have a relationship with her nor do I think I have a relationship with her. My son asked me at the time, but he does it less and less. “She has had the opportunity to talk to me and my son and she has not done so,” she responded forcefully to the questions of her fellow collaborators.

“Perhaps, when the child is older, my mother will want to have a relationship with him, but for my son the priority will be me, not her,” Pantoja insisted. Her decision to remove the photograph of her was also highlighted in a previous interview. “I removed the photo of my mother when I realized that I was not going to have a normal relationship with her again. If we don't have that relationship, I don't want my son to ask about her grandmother more than necessary,” she commented with a fellow reporter. at street level.

Another aspect that made clear was the lack of similar contact with his sister, Anabel Pantoja. “I know that the relationship between them does not go beyond the photos they publish, then they do not speak. I don't care to see them," she said, in an interview where she also clarified a possible pregnancy: "No, I'm not... it's true that I'm late, but I think it's also because of the nerves of all this, that Asraf is in the program and it can be a bit like that… sometimes the mind plays tricks.”
