Ibai Llanos announces who will ring the bells

The New Year's bells have Cristina Pedroche and her style as the main protagonists of a night full of emotions, but for the third year, they will have a rival on social networks: Ibai Llanos, who will once again broadcast the entries in the new year from the streaming platform Twitch.

However, you won't do it alone. As the Basque streamer announced through his X account (previously Twitter), he will have a very special partner. "People are looking forward to seeing us on such a special day," said the communicator, announcing who will be the co-presenter on such a significant night: TheGregf.

The one from Bilbao will join TheGregf - real name David Cánovas - on December 31 in Port Aventura, as announced on his social network account. A moment that the streamer described as "historic", since all the followers of both content creators are aware of the rivalry that has existed between them for years.

In addition to the arrival of TheGregf to the broadcast of the big moment, the streamer also has some surprises up his sleeve, ensuring that the event "is going to be crazy" thanks to all the changes they have made compared to past broadcasts.

An event that will be broadcast simultaneously on the Twitch channels of both communicators, which will feature special guests. TheGrefg also announced their participation: "This duo welcoming 2024 will be absolutely historic," says the content creator, who has already begun to do his thing with his followers so that no one forgets the event: "Give me ideas so that this day will not be remembered by the chimes, but by something else".

Ibai Llanos managed to recruit the great Ramón García for the 2021 and 2022 Chimes (along with Anne Igartiburu, taking advantage of RTVE's decision to leave the Basque presenter out of the event), and the data was astonishing.

An event characterized by naturalness and spontaneity, with both presenters drawing on their comic nature and delighting the more than 200,000 spectators who followed the event at some point - almost half a million at some points during the night.

"I see that many people have loved it. These types of experiences are amazing, and I think that today we have brought together several generations in front of the screen," said Llanos, grateful, after the broadcast, which swept the competition after agreeing to more families than ever to watch the Bilbao broadcast on the same device.
