Herpes plays tricks on Candela Peña at a Milan fashion show: "As if she had snorted some substance"

Last October, Candela Peña signed on as a collaborator on Late Xou, Marc Giró's program that brightens the nights of public television weekly. Irreverent and funny, the actress has adapted to the program perfectly, and proof of this is the incredible anecdotes she tells about herself.

Proof of this is what happened to him at a Roberto Cavalli fashion show. According to what she told Giró, the Italian haute couture brand invited her to a show in Milan after seeing her wearing one of her designs at the Goya ceremony. A unique experience, which turned out a little worse than she expected due to herpes.

"They invited me to the parade and I was there, with Rihanna and Paris Hilton's sister," says the actress, pointing out how she was sitting side by side with the two most famous women of that moment on the international scene.

However, being so close to such well-known characters played a trick on the actress, because her nerves caused herpes to break out. The protagonist of Hierro explains that she then put on some acyclovir ointment, designed to treat those first herpes outbreaks. A measure that anyone would have taken, except that, days later, her face with her ointment occupied the pages of the magazines.

Specifically, the famous Aarrghs! section. from Cuore magazine, which was once dedicated to bringing to light the embarrassing moments of celebrities. "There, in the Aarrgh de la Cuore," Peña laments, "it said 'Look at what's been left', as if I had been snorting some kind of substance and had remained there for a while."

"I thought to myself, what terrible people," he ends, causing Giró to laugh. "It's a shitty anecdote, but it is what it is."
