Gisela's ordeal with her pregnancy: "I have pain every day"

Gisela is facing one of her biggest dreams: pregnancy. The singer revealed last November that she was expecting her first baby with her partner, José Ángel Ortega, at 44 years old. Good news, which she has been looking for for a long time, but which seems to be turning into an ordeal.

The interpreter of ¡Suéltalo! She did not want to reveal her condition until she was sure she was going to move forward. And the first months were very complicated, and the in vitro process caused many problems. "It was difficult. I had to do five stimulations, which is also a process involving a lot of hormones, with many punctures..., in which your body undergoes many changes," she said.

From the first moment, Gisela's pregnancy has been classified as risky. So much so, that she had to remain bedridden for two months so that there would be no more problems. Even so, everything seemed to be improving, until now, when she confessed to Semana magazine that she continues to have a very bad time every day.

The first thing he has assured is that he is "regular" although he appears strong. Having an internal catheter means that you are not having the best time. And the artist had to be admitted last December for renal colic and stones in her kidney. Since they could not operate on him, they had to implant her device. Something that made everything considerably complicated.

Despite being discharged, one of the stones seems to have gotten stuck, and nothing could be done until after delivery for the sake of the baby. "I don't wish it on anyone, it's super painful," she expressed in the aforementioned medium.

But, if there is something wrong, it is having daily bleeding because of the catheter. "It is pain from the catheter because the rubber rubs against my bladder and I have hemorrhages, I bleed every day and I have a lot of anemia because of that," he continued.

Some problems that he cannot combat with medication to deal with them better, since it would be dangerous for the future child: "So to endure. And without being able to take almost anything for the pain." So much so, that he claims to have taken only three pills during all these months. All this is because they have to be as careful as possible, since any wrong move could cause premature birth.

Even so, nothing takes away the excitement of being a mother. And having José Ángel Ortega by his side, who is also experiencing everything very intensely, is helping him move forward. "We were already good as a couple, but now we are very united," he said.
