Gerard Piqué, on his separation from Shakira: "People don't even know 10% of what really happened"

If there is a topic that has occupied a large number of hours in the gossip press, it is everything that happened between Shakira and Gerard Piqué. Their notorious breakup has gone around the world and anyone has given their opinion at some point about what happened. Something that has been increased with the 'therapeutic' songs that the singer has published in recent months.

Although the woman from Barranquilla has not hesitated to talk about her feelings and what has been happening over time in various interviews, Piqué has wanted to stay more on the sidelines. The former footballer has talked about the subject on several occasions, but superficially, and now he wanted to explain why.

The Catalan came to RAC 1 to offer an interview on Jordi Basté's program, El món a RAC1, and could not avoid speaking out about his private life. "During my 22nd year, it was surely the year that the most things happened, since my separation, my retirement, everything happened," he began to relate.

Among other things, he wanted to make it clear that he does not pay attention to anything people think. "If I had given importance to everything that was said about me, right now I would be locked up in an apartment or I would have jumped out of a sixth floor," she has expressed forcefully. Likewise, she has stated that not paying attention is "the only way to get out alive."

And it is clear that if he does not respond to anything it is because almost nothing that is said is true: "People do not know, they are based on information that the vast majority is not real. What people read is not true ". But he doesn't want to talk about it because he claims he doesn't care about anything.

It seems that he maintains this philosophy of life to the letter, since he wanted to make it clear on several occasions during his interview. Furthermore, she has clarified that only those who are next to her know what happened.

"People don't know even 10% of what really happened," he said. Even so, she says she doesn't want it to be known because "it's something private." It seems that, despite wanting to show disinterest in the subject, she is clear that she does not want to be talked about in those terms.

Before settling everything, he wanted to make it clear that he is not what most people think he is. "But it doesn't worry me either, I mean, it's part of the circus, part of the show. People who give their opinion, who say 'it's like this or that', I don't care," she concluded.
