Flood of criticism against Vicky Martín Berrocal for her comments about thinness: "Before you didn't show yourself in a swimsuit"

Vicky Martín Berrocal is one of the most prominent designers and socialites on the current Spanish scene. The truth is that the TardeAR collaborator has always defended the curvy woman model and has constantly condemned fatphobic behavior. However, the businesswoman has launched 2024 with a pose in a swimsuit and a reflection on happiness, age and size that she has ended up unleashing controversy in her own publication on her Instagram.

"Happiness has no size or age. And neither do I," said Vicky in her latest Instagram post, in which you can see several images of the collaborator posing in a swimsuit during her trip to the Bahamas, looking spectacular. This has cost her a wave of criticism for appearing, according to her followers, "thinner than ever" and trying to sell a contradictory discourse that she has always defended.

This publication of self-care and self-love has ended up sparking controversy, since Vicky has suffered a large number of weight changes in recent years. The designer lost a lot of weight while she defended that age and weight should not influence when it comes to being happy. That is why the criticism did not take long to arrive through the comments on the businesswoman's post.

"I see you, much more comfortable, determined and confident since your size is smaller, and therefore happier. I am very happy. But the size does bring happiness, and it does matter, and quite a bit," declared one of the businesswoman's followers in the publication. "Very cute and ideal, but Vicky, please don't apply that speech because it doesn't matter. You have decided to take care of yourself, your size matters to you, probably for health reasons. But please, don't continue with the speech that you had when you were in size 42 or 44. That you looked divine too. And many women with that size saw in you that they could look divine," reads another comment.

"Happiness has no size, but before you didn't show yourself in a swimsuit" or "if it doesn't have a size, why have you stayed in the chassis?" are other comments that can be seen in said publication. As we said, for her first swimsuit pose of the year, the businesswoman has opted for a very flattering piece with a flat stomach effect. It is a design signed by MC2 Saint Barth and costs 145 euros. This one-piece swimsuit has a square neckline, thin straps and crinkled-effect fabric.

The businesswoman looked spectacular and completed her look with elegant black sunglasses, showing off her face without makeup and revealing a hair tie on her wrist. Without a doubt, Vicky is not only one of the most recognized women in our country, but also a successful influencer, since all of her publications generate a large number of likes and comments.
