Emotional last goodbye to Álvaro Prieto from his family and friends in Córdoba

The death of Álvaro Prieto has been a hard blow for his family and friends. His disappearance on October 12 shocked society, when he was last seen at the Santa Justa station in Seville, after a night of partying. However, four days later, the lifeless body of the 18-year-old was found between two carriages of one of the devices.

The autopsy confirmed that the Córdoba youth player died after being electrocuted while trying to climb on the train. For its part, the National Police sent a statement explaining that the body remained "completely hidden" until "the movement of the train" occurred. Now, his loved ones have said goodbye to him in an emotional funeral.

At 10:30 a.m. on Thursday morning the funeral mass for the death of Álvaro Prieto was scheduled. A hard farewell that brought together all the young man's family, friends and acquaintances in the Trinity Parish of Córdoba. "The closest friends have carried the coffin with shoulders broken with pain," said a reporter on the program Let's see.

Two cars were needed to bring to the place all the flowers that the deceased had received from his loved ones and people around him.

An event in which authorities such as the president of the Córdoba Football Club have not hesitated to attend. At the end of it, around 12 noon, those present gathered around the hearse in the square. "They have been in absolute silence for 15 minutes," the journalist continued.

"A silence that has just been broken with these applause from the entire square in homage to Álvaro Prieto. This mass lasted about an hour. We have heard songs. We have also heard applause inside this church," he concluded.

And this has not been the only goodbye that his loved ones have wanted to say. Several friends and family members have wanted to send him a few words through social networks. "Your mother loves you very much and she already understands that it was what had to happen, although it is not humanly fair, nor did we expect it," said María, a friend of the young man.

"I want to thank you for being close to me every day from a very young age, holding my hand. The memories that I have with you and that will never be erased from my head," said Álvaro Cabrera, Prieto's best friend and last close person to be with him.
