Cristina Saavedra says goodbye to her toughest season with an emotional message: "Pain is only calmed by love"

The last few months have not been easy for Cristina Saavedra. In just over a year, the journalist has faced the death of her older sister, her little sister, her grandmother, and finally her godmother. After a very tough stage and a professionally difficult season due to these marches, the communicator wanted to share an emotional message on her social networks with which she thanks her co-workers for all the love she has received.

The presenter of La Sexta Noticias had to pause her professional career a little over two years ago because of all the harsh setbacks her family faced. After saying goodbye to four of the fundamental pillars in her life, the journalist returned to work in September 2022, to face a season that has been as complicated as it was beautiful.

On the occasion of the end of this season, the presenter wrote an emotional message through her social networks that has captivated the hearts of all her followers. With an image, in which all of her classmates appear, she sent out a nice message. "My most difficult season ends. Pain is only calmed by love and I have not missed a single day. This is my team and I couldn't have a better one. Thank you infinitely, colleagues," said the journalist.

After some of the most complicated months, the presenter has been trying to find the light at all times. Thanks to her work, her colleagues and her closest environment, she has managed to move forward. After this emotional publication, there are many expressions of affection that the Galician received. "You deserve it," said Guiomar Roglán, a reporter for La Sexta. "We love you, partner", can be read in another comment.

As we said, in a short time Saavedra has had to face the toughest losses. The journalist lost her godmother in the summer of 2020, due to her covid. Later, in 2021, she said goodbye to her grandmother and, a few days later, she announced the death of one of her sisters, the little one, after being diagnosed with cancer. A few months later, her older sister was also diagnosed with cancer, which she could not overcome. Ultimately, she passed away in the spring of 2022.

After a few particularly difficult months, Cristina reappeared at her job in September of last year. It was then that she was greeted with warm applause and a bouquet of flowers. "After months of darkness and darkness, what you see in this video brings me back to life. Today I presented again and there were my colleagues at the end. Thank you for so much love that has made me strong," he wrote then. Without a doubt, her work has been an escape route for her after suffering the loss of four loved ones.
