And finding the perfect color lip gloss, the one that suits you the most, is not an easy task. There is an almost infinite variety of options on the market and, even so, sometimes we wish we could create a lipstick with a specific shade as we wish. Well, you can do it at home in a very easy way.
Marbell Rodríguez has 3.2 million followers on TikTok, under the pseudonym @makeup_mabell. Among its content, we find above all makeup looks, product recommendations and beauty tips that never stop adding 'likes'.
But what concerns us here is a video that echoes other content from the creator @molchanovamua, testing the latter's trick to create her own lip gloss. Mabell's version has almost 2 million likes and it is not surprising, since it is a very practical trick.
You will only need a colorless lip gloss or gloss and a powder eyeshadow palette, although a blush or sun powder will also work, depending on the tone you want. Although in the original idea they take the eye shadows directly from the palette with the gloss applicator, @makeup_mabell advises scraping a little of the shadow onto a surface such as a plate or tray, so as not to damage the palette.
Then, collect the shadow powder with the gloss applicator and insert it into the container, mixing the shadow with the gloss well. You can add more product or mix different colors until you find the tone you want to recreate. Once it is well unified, you can now apply it to your lips like a normal lip gloss.
You can repeat the process as many times as you want with different lip glosses and eye shadows, to create your own collection. Although, if you prefer, you can mix the shadow with a little gloss in a separate container instead of in the lip gloss itself, to reuse it with other colors.
