Carmen Borrego reveals why she has not called her son and what she will do when she sees him in 'This is life'

After returning from Honduras, Carmen Borrego has faced the controversial statements of her son José María Almoguera in an exclusive that she has shared with Paola, her ex-partner. In her first appearance in the Survivors debate, Borrego spoke with Sandra Barneda about her emotional state and how she is managing the situation since her return to Spain.

For Borrego, this situation has been really painful because he did not expect this radical change. "I left with a relationship with an absolutely normal relationship and that something big had happened, but I didn't know it was with me," the collaborator explained.

Barneda wanted to ask Borrego why, if they haven't spoken yet, she hasn't taken the step to try to solve things: "Why haven't you called?" The former contestant has guaranteed that she has not called Almoguera because she is convinced that she was not going to take her call. "It's very difficult to pick up a phone and I would feel worse," she said.

Although there has not been any type of communication between mother and son since the bomb dropped, it will not take long for them to see each other. Almoguera works on Así es la vida, the program in which Borrego also collaborates and to which he will rejoin this coming Monday, April 9.

Therefore, a very tense situation will occur that Borrego does not take into account: "I have no problem seeing my son and I am going to greet him." Of course, he has pointed out that Almoguera will "avoid" any encounter.

Furthermore, as the former contestant explained, she is very calm because she has a clear conscience for everything she has done for her son. "I am amazed, overwhelmed, hurt but not sunk. Within three days everything can change because you are processing this and you have many peaks," Borrego theorized. ç
