Two years have passed since Bruce Willis was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia, and his health is proof of it. The evolution of the disease prevents the Hollywood star from raising his head, reaching the point of not recognizing his ex-wife and mother of his three children, actress Demi Moore.
A source close to the Willis family has revealed this news to Closer Weekly, which claims that the memory of the Die Hard protagonist has completely faded.
"Demi has realized that he doesn't recognize her. She had no idea he had gotten so bad," they posted. However, the same media reports that the actor could continue to recognize his daughters and his current wife Emma Heming.
The same source points out that reports indicate that the performer can become "aggressive" at times, in addition to suffering physical slowdown.
Although Willis and Moore divorced in 2000, the former acting couple continued to maintain a good relationship to this day. Unfortunately, the actor's health condition has worsened to the point that he is not able to communicate verbally.
"I still love Demi. We have a very close relationship. We have three daughters who we will continue to raise together, and we are probably closer than ever now. We realize that we have a lifelong commitment to our daughters and our friendship continues, but the institution has been annulled," the actor revealed after the separation.
