Boris Izaguirre reveals what his reunion with Isabel Preysler was like after their estrangement: “I almost fell”

Boris Izaguirre was closely linked to the Preysler family, especially to Tamara Falcó and the matriarch, Isabel. However, a comment about the Marquise de Griñón earned him the enmity of everyone and broke a bond that had been forged over the years.

It all happened in October 2022, when Tamara attended the World Congress of Families, in Mexico, and offered some criticized statements, which were labeled homophobic. "Now we are living in a very complicated moment for humanity, there are so many different types of sexualities, there are so many different places where you can practice evil that I think in other generations it was not so evident and was not so well seen," said the socialite.

Some words that his friend Boris Izaguirre did not like at all, who did not hesitate to speak out. "In a kind of joint effort we managed to keep Tamara away from the deceitful Íñigo Onieva (...) Now we should repeat her effort to keep her away from that hateful ideology that surrounds her," said the writer.

Without a doubt, this did not please the family, who was away from the presenter, until now. "Tamara and I have been exchanging messages since we met at the Pedro del Hierro parade," the presenter told Europa Press. "We are normalizing the situation and we are becoming very good news," he added.

However, if there is something that has surprised, it is the approach he has had with Isabel Preysler. They all met a few days ago at an exhibition at the Thyssen Museum, and, as she herself said, she had not seen Boris. Something that seems to have not been the case.

"This Monday I went up to say hello first to Íñigo, then to Tamara and I also gave two kisses to Isabel," Izaguirre stated. Likewise, he wanted to make it clear that they still have a lot to talk about, but that the greeting was "very nice, really, not just polite."

"I wasn't expecting it. Suddenly, when we were there, Isabel pushed the dinner plate away and extended her arms and I was so nervous that I tripped and almost fell," he added. Boris Izaguirre has wanted to make it clear on several occasions that he did not expect that this could happen after the problems they have had.

"This process has been condemned for me and hateful to me all year, since we have not been able to speak normally," he added. Still, he feels that reconciliation is "exciting," although there is still a long way to go.
