Bertín Osborne talks about the "very hard blow" that the loss of his "brother" Arévalo has been

The singer Bertín Osborne has started 2024 in a complicated way, since on January 3, the comedian Paco Arévalo died at the age of 76. The presenter was also unable to say a final goodbye to his “brother”, since he was sick with Covid-19 and remained quarantined at home. Although he is still recovering, Osborne has given an interview to Hola! magazine. in which he has spoken out about the loss of his friend and show partner Mellizos, among others.

In his statements, Osborne pays tribute to the late comedian, describing him as "nice, very loving, a good guy and always trying to help others, never himself." He explains that Arévalo's death occurred after the death of his wife Elena, the only woman in his life, and regrets not having been able to say goodbye to him personally due to his own convalescence from coronavirus.

“He was nice, very affectionate, a good guy and always trying to help others… and never himself,” Osborne laments in the interview. “Our relationship was always magnificent, even though, at times, I got angry with him for not taking care of himself and not paying attention to me. Unfortunately… in the end, I was right,” he adds.

The singer and presenter emphasizes that he had asked him repeatedly to take care of himself, because he was "subjecting his heart to enormous effort." Osborne claims that Arévalo "had to lose 30 kilos" and that he never walked.

"Sometimes I got angry with him for not taking care of himself and not paying attention to me. Unfortunately, in the end, I was right," he highlights after adding that their relationship was always magnificent. "He went after Elena, her wife. She was the only woman in her life and, without her, he was lost," adds Osborne in the interview with the aforementioned newspaper.

Another of the topics addressed in the interview is the birth of Gabriela Guillén's son. She explains that she learned the news a day later through a mutual friend. The host previously expressed his desire to conduct a paternity test. This has generated an unexpected response, since Gabriela has not responded to her calls and has expressed her decision to raise the child alone, rejecting the paternity test proposed by the artist.
