Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week is preparing to set the trends

Bridal fashion is already preparing to show the trends of 2025. The Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW) will open its doors on April 17 and for another year the event, promoted by Fira de Barcelona (with the support of the Department of Business and Treball de la Generalitat de Catalunya), is confirmed as one of the most important global stages for the presentation of bridal fashion creations for next year. In this edition, 37 companies will show their 2025 collections on the catwalk, which will take place from April 17 to 20. While the trade show, of a professional nature, will take place from April 19 to 21 and 367 brands will participate, of which 76% are foreign.

It is estimated that a total of 900 designs from the women's (mostly) and men's bridal fashion lines, ceremony, cocktail and evening dresses will be seen on the catwalk.

One more edition, Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week will be inaugurated by Jesús Peiró, on the 17th at noon. And in the afternoon Sophie et voila/Serina Bridal (debutant from Japan), Isabel Sanchís, Yolancris, Joli Poli (Vietnam) and The Atelier by Jimmy Choo (Malaysia) will parade.

On the 18th, The Edit will open the day, which will be made up of brands such as Olga Maciá and Andrea Lalanza. It will be followed by the shows of Katy Corso (Ukraine), Lorena Formoso/Agnieszka Swiatly (Poland), Marylise

On Friday the 19th, Caroline Castigliano (debutante from Italy), Madame Burcu (Turkey), Julia Kontogruni (Bulgaria), Demetrios (Italy) and Allure Bridal will show their creations. The last show of the night, at the MNAC, will be Atelier Pronovias, which will celebrate the 60th anniversary of the creation of the brand.

On Saturday the 20th a new The Edit will parade, with Helena, Claudio di Mare and Serravalle. Next up is Sima Couture (debutant from Germany), Madeline by Morilee (USA). Global Bridal House will parade with its brands Modeca, GBS, Herve Paris and Libelle Bridal, from the Netherlands, and the American Randy Fenoli Bridal. And finally, there will be a joint Ogadenia Couture show; Lucas Balboa and Pedro Palmas.

On Saturday night, the awards will be given for the best collections (bride and groom), the best dress, the best red carpet collection and the best campaign image. There will also be awards for the best Catalan brand and career path.
