Audio: this was the emergency call for the death of Matthew Perry

The death of actor Matthew Perry has left millions of people around the world speechless. Perry gave life to Chandler Bing, one of the most iconic characters in the history of television and one of the main stars of the legendary American comedy Friends.

The American artist was found dead in the jacuzzi of his home. Although the reasons for his death are still being investigated, everything seems to indicate that the man died by drowning in the foam bathtub that he had in his home.

According to the American media TMZ, it was Perry's personal assistant who called the paramedics. According to said worker, the story was as follows: Matthew Perry had been practicing Pickleball for two hours, a trendy sport that he was passionate about. Later, he came home and sent the assistant to run an errand and, when he returned to the residence two hours later, he found his boss dead in the pool.

Confused and very scared, the worker called the emergency services and notified the actor's family, since he did not show any type of vital signs and did not respond to stimuli. According to various media outlets in the United States, the assistant first notified the emergency services that his boss had suffered cardiac arrest and that he was not breathing.

A few hours ago, TMZ leaked the recording of the distressing 16-second call that was made from the scene. "Agent 23. Rescue 23. EMS 9 on the radio. In response to the drowning," can be heard in the piece.

Although the health workers went as quickly as possible to the house of the artist who gave life to Chandler Bing, the actor had already died. When the authorities searched the house for any clues, they did not find drugs or narcotics, although they did find prescription drugs, such as antidepressants or anxiolytics.

Although the facts are gradually becoming clearer, the competent authorities are still carrying out some toxicological tests on the deceased's body, as well as trying to reconstruct the minutes prior to the death of the acclaimed comedy actor.

It should be said that the artist's notorious fame has caused a great social upheaval, since the character he played in the sitcom Friends is considered one of the audience's great favorites. Perry accompanied millions of viewers around the world from 1994 to 2004, which is why so many mourn his loss today.
