Antonio Tejado's gang could be behind the theft of jewelry at Bárbara Rey's house

The arrest and imprisonment of Antonio Tejado continues to make headlines in all the media in our country. The Sevillian was arrested, along with seven other people, last Friday, February 9, for allegedly being involved in a criminal organization that was dedicated to theft of homes in the province of Seville.

However, the situation of the former Survivor contestant took a radical turn when it was revealed that he could be involved in the robbery suffered by his own aunt, María del Monte, last August. For this reason, on February 12, the judge ordered Antonio Tejado to be imprisoned after being accused of being the intellectual author of the robbery at the artist's home.

This Friday, the singer and his wife, Inmaculada Casal, testified before the judge at the investigating court number 16 in Seville. The couple, who were experiencing a moment of maximum pain, had to go to court at 9:30 a.m. to recount everything that happened that night. ''We are calm because we come to tell what happened to us, which was something very serious. We are calm as much as possible, because reliving this is very hard,'' declared María del Monte.

After spending the entire morning testifying before the judge, both left the investigating court number 16 around 2:30 p.m. and assured that despite not having recovered anything of what was stolen, both continued to trust in justice. Of course, they clarified that they were not going to make any further statements on the matter.

However, the information about this case does not stop and on Friday afternoon, journalist Carlos Quílez revealed shocking news related to Antonio Tejado's criminal gang. According to the Y Ahora Sonsoles collaborator, the gang that carried out the robbery at María del Monte's house was dedicated to carrying out all types of assaults between drug traffickers.

But the arrival of Antonio Tejado to this organization "would have caused a change in the actions of the thieves." ''In this sense, the Civil Guard is investigating the list of those famous people who have had some relationship with Tejado to find out if among them there would also be possible victims of this gang. Among them, the name of Bárbara Rey is heard,'' the collaborator revealed.

And as I explained, Bárbara's name appeared in the telephone interventions. ''Perhaps like a woman's name or a code name, but the Civil Guard considers the possibility that she was in the crosshairs of the thieves,'' the journalist asserted.

Let us remember that Bárbara Rey suffered a jewelry theft years ago in her home in Murcia. According to the version that the star gave to the authorities, the assailants entered her home in the Murcia town of Totana and took a loot of jewelry valued at 180,000 euros.
