Antonio Tejado facilitated the entry of the robbers through the back door of María del Monte's house

The arrest of Antonio Tejado became one of the most famous moments in the world of gossip this past week. The former television program collaborator and nephew of María del Monte was arrested along with eight other people in Seville, after being accused of being part of a gang that robbed homes in the El Aljarafe region. One of them, the one that the artist has in Gines and that suffered an incident of these characteristics in the summer.

Since Monday, reactions of all kinds have been falling in dribs and drabs, both contrary and supportive, related to the arrested man, who was captured by TardeAR cameras the day before his arrest in a bar in Seville. This Wednesday, Ana Rosa Quintana's program has uncovered another important detail that investigators and all those interested in the case could pay attention to.

Saúl Ortiz, deputy director of the party program on the Mediaset network, detailed the points of the judicial order that marked the prisoner of the accused, pointing out that Tejado was in contact with the robbers at all times, even facilitating the entry of the group through from the back door of María del Monte's mansion. All of this occurred through a prepaid phone, which he would have used in other additional robberies.

The lawyer responsible for defending Antonio Tejado has categorically denied that there was any type of prepaid phone among his belongings, also ruling out that said device was seized during the Civil Guard's search of his home. Francisco Fernández Velo commented that no jewel or object in particular that could be associated with the crime was found either. “Absolutely nothing was found at Antonio Tejado's house,” he noted.

In his words, the images distributed by the Civil Guard to the media and that have been shared in recent hours do not correspond to Antonio Tejado's home, criticizing some sources for associating them in this way with his house. “That is flatly false, just a few seconds of the video and the exterior door of Antonio Tejado's house can be seen, just that,” the lawyer insisted.

A defense that published a statement on behalf of the detainee from prison, upset by the information published in newspapers, television and various social networks: “I have witnessed with regret how falsehoods have been spread about me, as well as statements that attack my privacy and reputation, violating my right to honor.”
