Andrés Velencoso's jump from model to designer of his own men's brand

There are many models who seek to go from the catwalk to the sewing workshops and embark on the creation of their own brand. However, few manage to succeed and even fewer manage to continue it. Andrés Velencoso is one of this small group and this week he proudly celebrated the first anniversary of his brand Ooto.

Together with friends and VIP clients of the firm, the creative director and also a Spanish actor presented Ooto's new Fall/Winter collection - an acronym that refers to Out of the Office - with an exclusive event to celebrate the brand's first anniversary. .

Famous faces from the big screen passed by the blue carpet rolled out to host the event's photocall, such as Álex González, a great friend of Velencoso, Ander Puig, Bore Buika and Carlos Francino, among other Spanish actors.

Under the motto "fashion for enjoyment", the brand led by Velencoso has managed to find a place among Spanish men's wardrobes for its versatility and relaxed air. A Mediterranean style that, as the company explains in a press release, is designed for a casual, modern man with attitude.

During the evening, the firm presented its new winter collection. A line built from basic garments with a color palette that has gray, green and mustard as its common thread, although it also has pieces in blue tones, a timeless basic for the men's wardrobe.

The collection highlights garments such as parkas with a longer cut and the double-breasted cloth coat, as well as corduroy pants and knitted sweaters with arans. However, the star garment of the line is, according to the brand, the bomber jacket in navy blue wool or black nappa leather, a jacket that has undoubtedly been crowned this mid-season period as the trend of the season.
