Alfonso Arús speaks out about Julián Muñoz's health: "Has he returned any of the money that flew away?"

This Thursday, it came to light that Julián Muñoz, former mayor of Marbella, has been admitted to a hospital for 15 days due to respiratory problems. It was in 2021 when the former politician managed to get out of prison after being diagnosed with a "serious and incurable illness." The disorder freed him from prison, where he was serving a sentence for his corruption crimes. Now, concern about his health has once again placed him in the media spotlight. The presenter Alfonso Arús has spoken on this topic in Aruseros de La Sexta.

Three years after Julián Muñoz's release, his state of health is once again making headlines. Isabel Pantoja's ex is receiving support from her daughter Elia and her ex-wife, Mayte Zaldívar. "He feels bad, nothing new," the mother of his daughters, with whom he currently has a cordial relationship for their sake, told the press.

As journalist Pepe del Real revealed this Thursday in Let's See, Muñoz has suffered respiratory failure, which is not helped by his heart problems. The former mayor would not have experienced any evolution, quite the opposite, which is why his condition is alarming. In fact, it is worth remembering that Julián himself explained after his release from prison that he had been evaluated and that his life prognosis was short.

This Friday, the Aruseros program returned to La Sexta and addressed the latest current affairs. One of them was the state of health of Julián Muñoz. It was then that Alfonso Arús made a comment that has not gone unnoticed by the program's viewers. "A question, have these people returned any of the money that flew?" said the presenter. "You don't know where he is, right?" Arús said, while the rest of his companions assured that he had not returned anything. "Normally, when there are these operations, there is some money that comes back," he said.

As has become known in recent years, the former mayor of the Andalusian city has "all his arteries touched" and has several stents, small tubes that expand and allow blood circulation to be restored in vessels and arteries that have become blocked. Apparently, three of them are located in the coronary artery and two in the legs. We will have to wait to have more details about the former politician's health, but for the moment the prognosis is worrying.
