A smiling Shakira leaves Barcelona to head to Miami without her children

Shakira is in one of her best moments, both personally and professionally. In a few months she has removed her mother-in-law as her neighbor, the press from her door and the debt with the Treasury, as she explained in her song with Bizarrap. And not only that, but she has managed to consecrate her return to her success by winning three Latin Grammys, at a gala held in Seville.

Despite having gone through a bad experience last Monday, when she had to go to the Barcelona Court for a crime of tax fraud between 2012 and 2014, she can now breathe easier. The singer decided to agree with the Prosecutor's Office and accept the charges against her. She must pay 7.3 million euros to Barranquilla to settle her debt and avoid the three-year prison sentence.

After this, there was no longer any reason for the Colombian to continue in Spain, so she decided to go back to Miami, where she moved after her breakup with Gerard Piqué. And it was at 9 in the morning when Shakira left the house where she raised her family with the soccer player in Espulgues de Llobregat to head to the airport.

Without her children, who will stay with their father for a while, the artist has used the same black van, with tinted windows, that took her to the courthouse. But she did not do it alone, but accompanied by her inseparable brother, Tonino Mebarak.

The vehicle has been followed at all times by a taxi in which all his suitcases were guarded by his secretary. And, upon arrival at the airport, the three met again to head to the plane that will take them back to the United States.

Although Shakira has not offered any statement, she has shown the occasional smile when asked by reporters. And there is one in particular that she found very funny, or at least that's what she wanted to show. "The lawyer said that if you had married Sergio Ramos you would have paid less. Is Ramos your prototype?" a reporter blurted out, to the laughter and calmness of the Colombian woman.

And, although it is a somewhat strange question, the explanation is found in the statements of Pau Molins, her lawyer, on the program El món a RAC 1. "Shakira's falling in love has cost her 120 million euros. If she had in love with Sergio Ramos and not Piqué, it would have been much cheaper," the lawyer wanted to make clear.

But it is not the only thing that Molins expressed. Among other things, he assured that he himself urged the singer to continue with the trial, since he was sure that she could win it. However, it was she herself who wanted to nip it in the bud for the good of her children. "Deontologically, we have to respect the will of the person," said the lawyer.
