A single woman from 'First Dates' is greatly disappointed when she meets her date: ''This normal guy has to smell bad''

The most popular restaurant on the small screen opened its doors for another week. On Monday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new batch of diners, who showed up to First Dates with the complicated objective of finding their better half. But viewers of the Cuatro program are more than used to seeing how many diners sentence their dates during the presentation.

Two of the great protagonists of the night were Martí and Paula. The 20-year-old bachelor arrived at the restaurant confessing to being "the smile of Andorra." One of his great passions was wrestling. ''I compare it to theater, we tell a story through giving each other shit,'' he explained. In love, Martí had not had much luck, so he was looking forward to finding a girl with personality and active.

His date was Paula, a 21-year-old Catalan who described herself as a "a little crazy" person. ''I like walking and I like to talk and do everything,'' she said. But despite the confidence that she exuded from her, the single woman confessed that she had had insecurities about her physique when she was younger. ''It has cost me a lot to love myself,'' she expressed.

The first impression among the singles was very different. While Martí was delighted with her date, Paula was greatly disappointed when she discovered that the bachelor was from Andorra. ''I do not know if I like it. People in Andorra are a little strange,'' she said. After exchanging their first words, Carlos Sobera accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about their life plans.

Martí confessed that he had moved to Barcelona to study acting. For her part, Paula was studying translation and interpretation and in her spare time she was an English teacher. ''I like that she is focused and has a goal,'' declared Martí, who shortly after left the single woman speechless by commenting that they called her ''the smile of Andorra'' because of wrestling. ''He's not my type,'' she said.

At one point during the evening, the singles realized that their differences were greater than their similarities. And music was not going to be a common point either. Paula said that she loved urban music. ''I don't hate any genre, but I'm more into rock,'' he revealed. ''Rock is from another era, from the nineties. Today he comes showered, but this normal boy has to smell bad, if he likes rock...he's from another century,'' the Catalan woman asserted.

In the final stretch, the singles moved to the program's booth, where they had the opportunity to get to know each other more intimately and make a decision. However, Paula was clear about her final answer from the beginning of the evening. Therefore, in the final decision, the single woman confessed that only a precious friendship could emerge between the two.
