A single woman from 'First Dates' drives her date crazy with an uncomfortable question: ''It bothered me''

The most famous love show on the small screen, First Dates, opened its doors for another day. On Wednesday night, Carlos Sobera and Laura Boado welcomed a new group of diners ready to spend an unparalleled evening and, if possible, meet a very special person.

One of the most striking dates of the night was the one starring Yoanny and David. The 46-year-old Canarian single arrived at the restaurant defining herself as a very sexual and passionate person. She also considered herself someone mystical because for a few years she had been doing 'Hoʻoponopono' rituals. ''It is practiced in Hawaii, it was a meditation technique to calm emotions and heal,'' she said. She wanted to meet an attractive man, but who was deep down a good guy.

His date was David, a 51-year-old personal trainer from Madrid, who assured as soon as he arrived that happiness and success resided in peace of mind. The first impression among the singles was quite good. ''I liked his hair, his beard, how he was dressed,'' she confessed. However, the impression of the single woman took a radical turn when the bachelor greeted everyone before her. ''He's very distant,'' she declared.

After discovering their places of residence, the presenter accompanied the couple to their table, where they began the evening talking about their professions and hobbies. The bachelor said that he also liked to meditate, but his priority was leading a healthy life, based on a healthy diet and sports. Something that the single woman did not like. "I don't like that it's so square, but that it flows," she asserted.

At one point during the evening, David demonstrated his passion for philosophy without realizing that the bachelorette was becoming drowsy. ''How boring, we have come to meet each other but he is not receptive,'' he said.

At one point during the evening, the Madrid single confessed that he loved sex. A statement that left the single woman completely shocked. ''So? Who would have thought,'' she said. ''Why?'' he replied. ''With this philosophical talk you've given me,'' she said.

''What does philosophy have to do with sex?'' he declared, visibly annoyed. ''I don't know,'' she stressed, half laughing. ''It bothered me, just because I am a spiritual person doesn't mean I don't like sex,'' he said. ''When I brought up the topic of sex, thank goodness because I was dying of sleep (...) There I said there is a person,'' commented the single woman.

However, this uncomfortable moment served to make the bachelor clear that Yoanny was not the woman of his life. ''I didn't like her hair, nor her way of dressing (...) I like them more covered up,'' he said. Therefore, in her final decision, Yoanny left the door open to a possible relationship, but David refused to go on a second date with her.
