The popularity of cosmetic touch-ups continues to grow. This is due, in part, to the fact that hundreds of content creators show large audiences the positive effects of these interventions, thus creating false illusions and expectations of a canon of beauty that is, on many occasions, unattainable.
However, there are also influencers who show the other side of the coin. This is the case of Rosario, a digital creator who became known in our country after participating with her now ex-boyfriend in the fourth edition of The Island of Temptations. The young woman from Alicante has uploaded a video to her TikTok account speaking openly about one of the worst experiences of her life.
The young woman explained in the audiovisual piece that she began to meet a boy (Stiven, a bachelor who participated in the same edition of the Telecinco program as her) and that he gave her a night in a hotel, spa and love. To look more beautiful, Rosario decided to have a small aesthetic touch-up: put on more lips.
Once she arrived at the beauty and aesthetic surgery clinic, the one from Alicante decided to go one step further and prick her dark circles and mark her jaw a little more. ''What about aesthetic touch-ups? It's like with tattoos. You always want more, more, more (...) This is the worst thing you can do, do things to yourself because you already see yourself in the moment and like crazy and without thinking about it 'Hey, give me everything''', the girl shared in the video while putting on makeup.
Although everything seemed to be going well, the woman from Alicante went to her appointment and during dinner she began to notice how blood was pumping to her lip area: ''Imagine my face when I saw myself on the mobile screen.''
The young woman has shared different photographs and videos from those days and has publicly denounced that the clinic was not responsible for anything. Furthermore, she was even told that if she had such swelling in her mouth it was because she had eaten something to which she was allergic, which seemed ridiculous to her.
Luckily, Rosario's bad experience with cosmetic touch-ups remained an anecdote and, as she expressed, "everything returned to its place." However, the TikToker wanted to make it clear that you have to do these things consciously, know what you are really putting on, what the effects are, etc.
The influencer was able to take something positive from this episode, since Stiven stayed with her for a few days to take care of her and helped her calm down. Thanks to those days, the couple was able to get to know each other better and Rosario discovered that the boy was ''the one''.
