6 sweaters with bare shoulders to join the trend

Off-shoulder sweaters are one of the leading trends this winter. Whether they come in a finer knit or thicker wool, with the flattering Bardot neckline and a fold over the chest. This garment is very elegant and sophisticated, as showing shoulders adds a distinguished touch to any look.

The trend is also perfect for all occasions, since off-shoulder sweaters boast a lot of versatility: from a work outfit with pleated pants; even an informal plan with jeans; passing for an important event if you wear it with a skirt, high-heeled boots and a bright necklace.

In addition, this type of garment is ideal to continue taking advantage of during the characteristic spring halftime, since bare shoulders do not provide as much warmth as round-neck or high-neck sweaters. If you want to join the trend, we suggest several designs, in line with different styles and budgets. Brighter prints or timeless solid colors, thicker or finer textures, with special details to put the finishing touch on your wardrobe.

At Zara we find the draped knit sweater (€29.95), a perfect proposal to combat the cold with an original touch. The sweater is made of thick wool and the shoulder hem is draped, with a metallic appliqué decoration. It is available in white and gray.

The Aurore sweater by Sézane (€110) is made of wool and kid mohair, very soft and fluffy. It is available in fuchsia pink, to give a touch of joy to the outfit, or in ecru or black, to combine it with your entire wardrobe.

Brownie's Off-the-Shoulder Ribbed Jumper (€39.90) is body-hugging, with a slimmer hem and a more youthful feel. It is available in white or forest green.

Also tight to the body, the merino wool and cashmere sweater from Michael Kors (€295). It is available in white or black, both sporting a gold metallic appliqué with the brand's logo at the bottom.

At Mango we find a more spring option, the off-the-shoulder knit sweater (€25.99), with a black and white sailor stripe print. Unlike the previous ones, the shoulders are exposed by a simple bateau neckline, without folds.

And in a more colorful and striking key, the wool and viscose sweater from Missoni (€550). It shows off an asymmetrical multicolor herringbone print, which will add a cheerful touch to any outfit. The neckline is asymmetrical, with only one shoulder exposed.
