Owning a vehicle requires us to comply with current legislation. From having the Technical Vehicle Inspection (ITV) in order, having car insurance, paying the road tax to making sure that the vehicle is in perfect condition to drive on the roads. Part of the documentation required to be able to circulate with your vehicle on Spanish roads can be carried out at the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT) in person or online. Some of these processes require the payment of certain fees while others are free procedures.
In addition to these three free procedures, you can also carry out other administrative processes directly from the DGT. Telematically you can pay all kinds of fines related to Traffic or present allegations and/or appeals. You can also request a duplicate driver's license, check the points available or the environmental badge that your vehicle has.
