The provinces where you can consult the DGT theorist's notes just one hour later

We will not have to wait more than an hour to consult our grade for the theoretical exam of the driving license at the General Directorate of Traffic (DGT). Starting this Thursday, candidates who go to the Traffic headquarters in A Coruña, Barcelona, Las Palmas, Madrid, Oviedo, Seville, Valencia and Valladolid will be able to do so through the miDGT application.

Until now, citizens could only check their 'pass' or 'fail' for the theoretical exam through the DGT website and wait about 18 hours, which was the time in which the notes for all the tests taken each time were uploaded. day in each of the provincial headquarters of Spain.

This option will only be available to applicants who go to those provinces and who have taken the theoretical driving test, except for the dangerous goods test and the recovery of the license due to loss of validity.

Once they have passed the practical tests, students will also be able to obtain a provisional driving license on their mobile phone through the same application, which also reduces the waiting times involved in the process to be carried out between the DGT and the driving schools.

Furthermore, once the final permit has been issued, people who have the application will have a digital driving license on their mobile phone, which has the same validity as the permit in physical format as long as it is circulated in Spain.

This app was created by the DGT in March 2020 to personalize the relationship with citizens and prevent them from carrying out procedures without going to their headquarters.

The miDGT application includes functionalities such as having the driving license on your mobile phone, having the vehicle's driving license and the electronic technical data sheet, and consulting the main vehicle data, such as the MOT, insurance and the environmental label.

In order to access the miDGT application, you need to be registered in the cl@ve system, which is the secure identification platform to interact electronically with the Administration.
