Fuel prices continue to register slight increases and decreases in recent weeks. According to the latest weekly Oil Bulletin of the European Union, gasoline fell by an average of ten euro cents per liter (0.51%) in the last week, to 1.751 euros, in what is its first drop in the last three months.
This breaks a trend that has lasted for months: gasoline had a streak of 12 weeks of consecutive increases since almost the beginning of summer; In September, it became 1.16% more expensive; and since the beginning of this year it has increased more than 26%.
For its part, the price of diesel was sold in Spain at an average of 1.687 euros per liter between September 25 and October 2 at the more than 11,400 Spanish service stations, which represents an increase of 0.06%. compared to the previous week, when it already accumulated three consecutive months of price increases. In September, diesel fuel already rose by 4%.
Thus, currently, filling an average 55-liter tank this last week costs 96.3 euros in the case of gasoline and 92.8 euros in diesel vehicles.
