Starting tomorrow and until January 14, the Spanish track cycling team faces the first major objective of the season, the European Track Cycling Championship held this year in Apeldoorn (Netherlands), which it attends with eighteen riders.

The objective is to repeat the success of the last edition in 2023, in which they won three silver medals in Grenchen through Albert Torres in the points, Alejandro Martínez in the kilometer and Eukene Larrarte in the scratch.

The national expedition led by coach Félix García Casas goes to the Netherlands after a few weeks of preparation in Valencia and Anadia (Portugal). In Apeldoorn the national team will be made up of a total of 18 cyclists, including distance runners and sprinters.

With an important squad and the challenge of equaling the three silver medals from the last edition, the next few days will define the first rides of the Spanish team this season in which they will begin measuring themselves against some of the great world powers in track cycling.
