This Thursday, King Felipe VI inaugurates the fifth edition of the La Toja-Vínculo Atlántico Forum, created to defend the values ​​that define democratic societies, businessmen, politicians and civil society, in the face of the emergence of authoritarian political and economic models. The event is held this year between September 28 and 30 on the Island of A Toxa, in O Grove (Pontevedra), under the motto “A more uncertain world.”

The speakers will analyze the new world order that is opening up after the pandemic and the crisis of globalization, the Russian invasion of Ukraine and the trade war between the United States and China in diverse areas such as the energy transition, infrastructure, digital advances, the fight against climate change, the industry or markets for raw materials and rare earths.

The forum has already established itself as a reference event in intellectual and academic debate, with the presentation of high-level presentations, debates and round tables. In the last five years, the meeting has managed to establish itself as an inexcusable reference for public conversation in Spain and, in this call, it will address topics of maximum relevance and topicality.
