Demand increases in first preference to study at the TecnoCampus

A total of 1,113 students have obtained a place to study a degree at the TecnoCampus next year. This is 163 more students than in June of last year. It is one of the most positive data from the university pre-registration process for the month of June, in which a total of 950 students have applied to study at the TecnoCampus in first preference (205 more than in the June 2022 pre-registration). Students will be able to formalize their university enrollment over the next few days.

The great demand has made it necessary to establish a cut-off mark in various degrees. Specifically, eleven degrees and double degrees, of the seventeen offered by the TecnoCampus, have a cut-off mark. In this sense, the high cut-off marks in the degrees of Nursing and Physiotherapy stand out, of 9,288 and 8,987 respectively; in Nursing, the demand triples the offer of places, while in Physiotherapy it multiplies it by four.

In addition to the field of health, the pre-registration data confirms an upward trend in engineering studies in the last years. In Computer Engineering for Management and Information Systems there is again a cut-off grade (7,050). And in industrial engineering (Mechanics, Electronics and Industrial Organization) a cut-off mark (6,045) was registered for the first time in many years, due to the growing interest generated by these degrees.

Another degree in which a strong increase in demand stands out is the Degree in Video Game Design and Production, where first preference applications have increased notably and the cut-off mark is 5,268. In the double degree in Computer Science and Video Games, the cut-off mark is 5,302.

In the field of business, very high numbers of applications are maintained in many of the degrees offered by the TecnoCampus, where the Degree in Marketing and Digital Communities (7,664), the Degree in Business Administration and Management of the Innovation (7,640), and this same degree taught in English (7,096). The double degree in Marketing and Business Administration also registered a cut-off mark (8,344). In the Degree in Logistics and Maritime Business, the cut-off mark is 5,646.

The assignments and the number of students that will be able to enroll in the TecnoCampus will increase over the next few weeks, in what is known as the reassignment process. In addition, in those degrees that have vacancies, they can be filled in the September pre-registration for all those who take the selectivity this month.
