Cecot regrets the lack of labor agreements in the ERC and Junts pacts with the PSOE

The Catalan employers' association Cecot yesterday showed its concern over the lack of agreements on labor matters in the pacts of the Catalan parties (ERC and Junts) with the PSOE.

Cecot's labor advisor Josep Maria Bosch said he was “concerned” and “surprised” and recalled that the PSOE-PNV pact contains the agreement that collective agreements at the regional level prevail over those at the state level on certain occasions.

He also pointed out that the measures agreed with Sumar will need the consensus of business organizations.

Specifically, Cecot pointed out that the agreement "limits the capacity for collective bargaining, restricts the possibilities of modifying working conditions, makes business restructuring processes difficult and increases the judicialization of labor conflicts."
