Ximo Puig will not agree with Mazón as long as the PP accepts Vox's "ultra policies"

Ximo Puig warned this morning that it will not be possible to establish pacts with Carlos Mazón as long as the PP continues to "accept" and "give cover" to the "ultra policies" of Vox's partners. "We will respond to the call for dialogue, but I already tell you that we will do it to tell you that we can always talk about pacts, but the first and fundamental one is that of democratic respect and plurality"

The leader of the PSPV has insisted that as long as there is no such commitment on the part of Mazón "it is impossible for any agreement to occur, because there cannot be any pact that is not based on respect." The ideal, according to Puig, would be for Mazón to expel the extreme right from his government: "he can do it because there is no parliamentary alternative; he should do it." “But he has decided to be president of the PP before the president of all Valencians,” he added.

With this statement, Ximo Puig responded to the offer of pacts launched yesterday by Carlos Mazón in Les Corts Valencianes. The president offered the PSPV and Compromís "dialogue" to achieve unity of action among the Valencian deputies in Les Corts and in Congress to jointly demand pacts, among others, for the financing or payment of the FOGA debt.

For Ximo Puig "it is difficult to be able to talk about pacts with someone who does not condemn what happens every afternoon in front of the PSPV headquarters, or the targeting of Valencian deputies or the permanent insults in Les Corts by the extreme right."
