Why does photography always beat AI?

AI, Artificial Intelligence, yes or no?... In La Vanguardia Readers' Photos we open this debate based on these two female portrait images: Which of the two is made with AI?

Even with the most modest and free AI program, portraits or other types of beautifully crafted and convincingly finished images can be "made."

Anyway, call me old, but I still prefer photos taken in the old style, with its virtues and its defects. Precisely, this is surely one of the reasons why AI will never be able to surpass photography.

And photography is an art beyond being a technique for obtaining long-lasting images due to the action of light. And as art it is generated by artists of flesh and blood, with heart, aptitudes and attitudes towards the reality of their time and circumstances.

Photography is the process of projecting images, capturing them and capturing them, but it is much more, because it has to do with the human capacity, yes, human (and not AI) to be creative, to express ourselves through an artistic work, which It transmits messages, emotions, feelings to us.
