The end of the Spice Girls marked an entire generation, especially teenagers, in the now distant 2001. The megagroup that broke sales records was headed by Victoria Beckham and the now designer has been in charge of making the wedding dress of one of her bandmates.
This is the Spice Girl Mel B, Victoria's former partner in the music group and who has now trusted her to design one of the most important dresses of her life, the one on her wedding day.
“Victoria has already designed my dress and my mother's. For me it is a great honor,” explained Mel B on NBC, where she clarified that she will marry Rory McPhee at St. Paul's Cathedral in London.
“My sister ‘Spicy’ Vic, I cannot thank you enough for your enormous generosity. Not only did you dress my mother and me, but you surprised me by being there to dress us. It was so special… thanks to you and your fabulousness,” Mel posted on Instagram.
“Honestly, what a perfect ending to a magical day, you booked a lovely dinner with both of our families. 25 years of friendship and we still like each other, I love you a lot,” the singer concluded.
Mel B has also recently remembered the 25 years since the founding of the Spice Girls, thanking her fans for being “the best in the world” and remembering her colleagues.
